“Who will be coaching us?”

Introducing our Head Coach: Danny Peters

Danny Peters, born and raised in Brazil, the only country to have won the World Cup five times, remembers loving soccer already as a 5 yr. old. He became captain of his Brazilian high school team in grade 11 and 12, scoring a whopping 57 goals his 11th gr. year. While a student during his 10th grade year, he also began coaching the Jr. High team in Curitiba, Brazil.

Danny received a Soccer scholarship to attend Fresno Pacific College (now University) in California. There he was captain of the FPC team in his senior year while making it to NAIA finals, only taking 2nd place after fighting through 4 overtimes. Danny received the Golden Talon award that year for being the top senior athlete.

Coaching has been close to Danny’s heart, having the opportunity to do so for three high school soccer teams; in California, and Sao Paulo, Brazil. He has a love for soccer, children and youth, making him a great choice as our Soccer camp coach!

We are grateful to have Danny share his expertise with the kids in our community who love Soccer!

Where will it be held?

This year’s location will be Aberdeen Elementary on the corner of Bradner and Fraser Hwy.
